About This Book on askdavid.com: Goose Creek is a look into the complexities of teenage boys being best friends. It's a story of bullying, shunning, and shame. The book's title is derived from the name of a creek that meanders through Loudoun County, Virginia.
D. H. Allen is a young dude trapped in an old nerd’s body. Yikes! A veteran, he enjoys reading historic novels, swashbuckling adventure tales, whodunit, gardening, stained glass, writing, movies, and traveling. Loves music, almost all genres, and dances like crazy when no one is looking. He cooks without recipes, and makes a mean Chesapeake chowder. Allen lives with his first (and last) wife of many, many years in central Virginia in a cottage in the woods. And their little dog too.
